Exploring Skies and Clouds with Pastels: with Tia Maggio

Drawings and paintings of skies and clouds will always be images that attract our attention. In this class, using color pastels and pencils as mediums, we will explore images of skies and clouds and the moods they create. The real scenes you see, reveal floating shapes, textures, lights and darkness and subtle variations that change. In this class we will capture those painterly elements. We will also lean into this, loosen up and slow down with these pastel/pencil skies and clouds.
