Portrait Drawing: with Bob Watkins

In learning how to draw the portrait, there’s an emphasis on the language of line, form, light and shadow and perspective…..highlighting the use of charcoal, graphite and conte crayon as drawing media. Drawing portraits and seeing the entire facial composition is the basis for many other drawing aspects in art. This class is designed for all levels of interest and abilities. Students will be working from photo references to begin the class.
