Summer Art Camp for children ages 8-13

Join Us for Children’s Summer Art Camp, with Amelia McIsaac and Liz Shelly.

Calling all young artists between the ages of 8-13! Our immersive Summer Art Camp invites children to explore the exciting world of art through daily themed projects designed to spark creativity and build confidence.

Each day, students will dive into a new artistic concept—like texture, line, value, color, and pattern—while working with a variety of high-quality materials. We have two talented and caring camp instructors, one for the mornings and one for afternoons. Both are dedicated to teaching and building your child’s skills, and art vocabulary while they explore and gain confidence in their own creative voice.

Campers will:

• Create textured collages using natural materials
• Sculpt unique vessels with self-hardening clay
• Sketch contour drawings and build wire sculptures
• Experiment with vine charcoal and draw self-portraits
• Mix their own paints to create custom color wheels and vibrant artworks
• Explore pattern-making through drawing and painting
• Tie Dye
• Felting and more!

At the end of camp, family and friends are invited to a special Friday afternoon art show to celebrate the students’ creativity and hard work! (Family art show Aug 22 at 3pm-4pm!)

Children should bring their own snacks and lunch, activities will be held both inside the school and on our beautiful grounds.
