Saturday, May 3,  1 – 4:30pm

$75.00

Availability: In stock

In this class we will be slow-stitching a small textile art piece of our own design, with the natural landscape as our inspiration, using observation and plant materials.

We will learn simple print and dye techniques to transfer found botanical images to fabric. We will compose a base using fabric as collage. We will practice drawing with thread by learning basic embroidery stitches in non-traditional ways to create free-form patterns, marks and lines.
