SATURDAY WORKSHOP: Painting the Winter Landscape Workshop: with Bob Watkins

The Winter landscape offers students opportunities for painting in oils, using the muted tones of the palette. These nuanced colors provide ways of creating a composition that emphasizes winter white, tawny, gray and brown while creating a painting that captures the serenity of a winter scene. Whether trees, sky or weather related details painting the winter landscape offers a unique learning experience. We will be working from photographs as winter reference sources.
