Children’s Summer Art 2024:

Paint, Draw and More

Art School of Columbia County has designed and dedicated these two weeks to the annual Summer Children’s Program: Paint, Draw and More. During the weeks of August 5 and August 12, choose from either one week or the other, or both. This is a full day art program, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The entire art studio building has been reserved for these weeks of Paint, Draw and More to offer children a supportive and creative environment (the building has central AC) and of course there’s the beauty of ASCC’s outdoor landscape for plein-air artwork as well. What will happen during the full day, week schedule…….ART.

This hands-on art program is designed as a fully immersive art experience in that children will work with drawing, painting, printmaking, assemblage, design and three dimensional materials, all in various media. We emphasize the process of making art and how that turns the wheels of creativity and imagination for young people. We also have a belief and a commitment in working with art teachers who bring their years of expertise and experience to this art program and every art program at ASCC. This is a team taught program, in that every week two art teachers will be teaching.

For ages 8 – 12 years | Weeks of August 5 or August 12 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The cost of the program is $450.
