The Art of Summer Children’s Program 2023

The Art of Summer Children’s Program for children ages 6 to 13 is created by the Art School of Columbia County, brings young people together in a safe, creative and nurturing environment with opportunities to thrive and enjoy the bounties of their childhood summer while making art.

For this unique summer art program we are proud to say we work with Experienced Art Teachers who are also Practicing, Professional Artists. They are here to inspire our youth, offer young people opportunities to learn about art and help them develop their artistic potential in a fun and challenging yet noncompetitive environment.

Each week offers a unique art experience with different art projects where young people can sign up for weekly sessions. These art explorations will have young people delving into hands-on experiences in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, portraits, color, collage, nature studies, clay work and more.

The weekly sessions will be held both in the studio and outside under a dedicated event size tent. The Art School landscape boasts of terraced gardens and trees with scenic vistas.

Each week will be strictly limited in size to ensure a positive experience for every young person enrolled. Upon registration you will receive confirmation.
