Description
Learning to knit in the round is a great next step once you have learned the basics of knitting! In this class you will learn to knit a hat, and in the process learn to cast onto a circular needle and join your knitting to work in the round, ribbing, stockinette stitch, decreasing, and how to switch to and use double pointed needles. Knitting a hat is a great first experience in working with double pointed needles, which you can then use for knitting socks, mittens, and other small circumference projects! This class is for the adventurous beginner – you need to know how to cast on and be comfortable with the knit and purl stitches.
