Intro to Oil Painting: with Bob Watkins

This intro to oil painting class, using environmentally sensitive materials, will offer students a solid foundation to build upon whether you are a beginner or with some prior experience. Delving into the areas of color mixing, composition and building form with paint on the canvas will be the focus. The still life will be used on a weekly basis, as this subject matter provides students with definite ways for understanding and learning painting concepts. We will work with a limited color palette to keep down the costs and for best learning opportunities.
