Always wanted to draw from a life model, but unsure how to begin? Drawing the human figure is often considered a great challenge — but it is an immensely rewarding experience even for beginning artists. Join us for this unique program to expand yours skills and inspire your confidence when creating art inspired by the human form.
There are two options:
1. Instruction with studio session: 6-8:30 pm ($25/session). Be guided in studying the human form from 6-7 pm, learning proportion and how to show weight, form, and convey balance.
2. Studio Session: open to pre-registered attendees ($10/session) for studio time with the live model (without instruction) from 7-8:30 pm. Please arrive at 7 pm.
This class is great for those new to figure drawing, or those wanting to fine-tune how they capture human form. Helpful worksheets developed by the instructors plus discussion of the rich art history of figurative drawing will round out this class.
