For Kids

DSC_3752Love art?  We do too!  ASCC offers a wide range of programming for children, grades K-12.

Join us for free community programs year-round for kids and families.

Art Classes at ASCC: many of ASCC’s classes are open to students age 15 and up – please check individual class listings.

Our One Hour Art Program (under class listings) is free to students age 13-21.

ASCC also offers a free 30 minute Portfolio Review program for ages 15-24.  This is an encouraging way to get feedback on your art, your interests as a developing artist, and ideas for new media, subjects, or techniques to pursue.   Contact us for an appointment.

ASCC has a High School Intern Program for students age 16-18, and an Intern Program for college/graduate students or those returning to school or entering the nonprofit arts field as a career.

We offer in-school based programs for 100s of students each year, and currently work with the Chatham, Hudson, Kinderhook (Ichabod Crane), and New Lebanon School Districts.  All of our programs are free to the schools.  Please contact us if you are an administrator, teacher, librarian, or parent interested in having ASCC’s school-based programs in your school, library, or grade level.

See you soon!
